Act It Out Children's Stories
Three book giveaway
Act It Out Children’s Stories are intended for the listeners to act out the story. The words in italics are meant to prompt the listener to do the action. It's a play and a story all in one.
The dialogue is short and the actors can choose in advance whether to repeat the lines or not.
You can act it out with one participant or more. If you have more people than the story requires, multiple people can play the same character.
The stories last about five to ten minutes. It's still a story you can read before bedtime, but you may want to skip the acting part.
The paperback version is full color, and each story is around 24 pages.

Excerpts
Captain Cole
Cole and Andy unsheathed their swords from their sides and waived them in front of their bodies. Cole was swinging his sword wildly in all directions, and it looked like he was trying to swat a fly with it. Andy looked like his sword was an axe and he was trying to chop wood.
Josh Goes to the Zoo
They stopped in front of the turtle display. Josh got on the floor and lay on his belly.
“Get on my back,” said Josh.
Quinn lay on Josh’s back, sideways, like he was the turtle shell. Josh kicked his hands and feet, as if he was a turtle moving slowly through the sand.
“That was so fun,” said Josh.
“Let me be the turtle,” said Quinn.
So they switched places. Quinn lay on the floor on his belly and Josh lay sideways over his back.Quinn moved his arms and legs, like he was a graceful turtle swimming through the deep ocean.
Reid Learns to Fish
“I know the cow says moo, but what do worms say?” Reid asked.
“I don’t really know,” answered Grady.
Reid put his palms together above his head, trying to make himself straight like a worm. Then he wiggled around and made up a funny worm noise. Grady did the same thing as Reid, wiggling around in circles and making up his own funny worm sound.
